DSF Listings Designated Space Facilities are being established by the state for COVID-19 positive patients. All the DSF will be over-flow hospitals, so no member will be going to a DSF first. They would be going to an established hospital, and then from there, depending on the established hospital’s capacity, the member would have 3 possible paths depending on level of care needed:
Option 1: during pre-admit screening they would be transferred to a DSF
Option 2: while inpatient they would be transferred to a DSF
Option 3: post-discharge they would be transferred to a DSF
